Who wouldn't want this bag? So pretty!

I recently featured a new shop on my blog that makes the most fabulous purses and bags. I am crazy about these bags and because I don't want to be stingy, I shared the information about the bag maker with you. (Read previous post below and see pictures.)
I told you, my readers, that I would let you know when Cranberry Ridge Design featured a new bag. This one, you must see! It is the popular "Oh Wow!" bag and this one is simply beautiful. (I think you will agree!)
Done in black and pink, it just screams elegance and style.

Don't you love it?!!! I think it is gorgeous!
The perfect accessory item. What a purse!

You can find this bag currently for sale in the Cranberry Ridge Design Etsy shop...click HERE .
You can also find this bag currently being auctioned on Ebay. You can go straight to the auction by clicking HERE.

Remember girls, Cranberry Ridge Design does custom bags too, so if you are looking for custom colors, check out their Etsy shop where there is a custom auction listed.

"Oh Wow"..Check out these beautiful purses / bags! A TIP for you!

Monday's Musings.....
Today, I have a great TIP to share with you....
Check out these bags!

I just have to share some pictures of the beautiful bags that I found at Cranberry Ridge Design. (You can find their linked logo on the right hand side of this blog.) The pictures simply don't do them justice. Friends, these bags are top notch! I LOVE the pink one above. Each accessory bag is custom sewn with top quality fabric and amazing hand work. You just can't find a bag on the market anywhere... that I am aware of, that comes even close to this craftsmanship. The "Oh Wow" bag is the larger version and the "Little Sister" bag is the smaller one. You'll be the envy of all your friends when you carry one of these bags. They are worth every penny and will be a bag you will be proud to carry. Don't lay it down though, as it might disappear, since all your friends will want one. :-)

Check out how roomy these bags are. You will love all the compartments, the reinforced bottom and the style. No wonder the name of this smart bag is the "Oh Wow!" bag...because that is exactly what you will say when you get your bag.
Connie Ridgeway is the owner and seamstress at Cranberry Ridge Design. Let me tell you, this gal impressed me with her skills. Connie has been sewing all her life and only
recently opened Cranberry Ridge Design. I am so glad I found them and am anxiously awaiting the next bag that she adds to her collection.

I wanted to show off some of the bags she offers here. Don't wait. You will definitely want one of these bags. Since Connie opened her store, word is traveling fast. Cranberry Ridge Design bags are selling faster than Connie can turn them out. She is having trouble getting her store stocked since they have been so popular. No wonder! They are to die for! Why don't you contact Cranberry Ridge Design and order a bag for yourself? You won't be sorry!

Can you believe how pretty these bags are?

I love all three of these! Aren't they gorgeous?!! They are all pretty but don't you just love the blue in the center and the one with the pink tie? VERY CUTE!

I can't say enough good things about these bags. I was more than happy to add the Cranberry Ridge Design store button to my blog, (located right hand column of my blog) since I fell in love with these bags. I want to share it with all my friends and readers. Cranberry Ridge Design bags are the best kept secret in town...except now, " the cat is out of the bag" as word of mouth is spreading fast about these wonderful purses and bags. You can find Cranberry Ridge Design on ETSY, and on the web..(though the store is brand new and just being stocked)...Click HERE to visit the web store, and on the Cranberry Ridge Design blog. (All these links will take you to the various CRD web sites.) You can always contact Connie to order your bag. She has a TON of the nicest fabric I have ever seen.
And for you UK fans, she has a nice selection of UK fabric. Get your bag ordered now! I think it will turn out so pretty. Here is a picture of her current UK fabrics.
For those of you who may be wondering......Yes, I got permission from Connie of Cranberry Ridge Design to post some of these pictures. When she gets more pictures ready, I will share some more... if she is agreeable. Hopefully, you will have your name on a list to get your own "Oh Wow!" Bag. Until then, check out her blog or facebook. Bags so pretty I just had to share.

Favorite Daughter's New "Scrapbook Room Rug"...made to match!

Today, I have something pretty to share. I am featuring a crocheted fabric rug made with very special "fibers" that I call the scrapbook rug.  I love how this rug turned out.  Nothing like a crocheted fabric rug in made to match colors to accessorize a bedroom.
So cute!
This scrapbook rug is extra special and constructed of reclaimed clothing items worn by a special little girl. Mama saved daughter's clothing and commissioned me to make her a rug made from the clothing. It is very time consuming but the end result is something to be treasured. What could be more special than to be reminded of all the cute outfits of days gone by in a more grown up way in ones decor? It is just like looking at happy reminders of years gone by, or rather like looking at a SCRAPBOOK. (Hence the name: Scrapbook rug.) This rug should last for many years to come. These rugs get rather heavy to work with but are soft, durable and pretty. This particular rug is not for sale but I do take custom orders. Also, very soon, I will have another rug and matching mat (made to match) that will be posted for sale in one of my stores..(ebay or etsy) ..well, unless someone comes along and snaps it up before I even get it posted for sale. That happens a lot. Anyway, they are nearly finished, so keep checking back to see the finished products.

Thanks for stopping by,

Headed to the bathroom with a matching tranquility rug

This has been a first for me. A customer sent me fabric to match her bathroom and commissioned me to make her a crochet rug for her bathroom made to match the other decor items she had sewn. The customer, an interior designer herself, made a shower curtain, a window curtain and decorative towel bands with monograms. It all looked really wonderful, except for one thing, she couldn't find a rug to match her bathroom. She decided to have me make her a one of a kind rug that would match exactly.

By sending me ample yardage to work with, I was able to make not only a matching rug but also to make a few small baskets to go in her bathroom. The baskets are great for displaying rolled up towels, washcloths or a few magazines. They can also be used for shelves to store small items such as makeup or bath essentials. It all looks great and I have another happy customer. Here is a picture of the rug in progress. The entire bathroom is done is shades of light turquoise, pink, sea green and darker, deep ocean blue. The room has a light ocean type feel to the room and exudes tranquility. So pretty.
**Thank you JoRay for the opportunity to work with you. I had a great time and I am glad that you like your finished products. Your room looks amazing.

Beaded socks for a dance competition

I love doing custom orders. This pair of boutique beaded crocheted socks was a lot of fun to make. They were made to match a unique summer outfit for a special little girl to wear in a dance competition. I wanted to share a picture of the finished product with you. They are the perfect accessory item for the little girl that will be wearing them. She is one happy customer...saying "These are exactly what I wanted! They are perfect."

I often get orders for a lot of different types of socks ranging from beaded, delicately ruffled to a light trim with no beads. Some have cuff decorations and some do not. They make a great gifts and are loved by both children and adults. They also make wonderful gifts for children, teachers, nurses, and dance teams.
Contact me if you are interested in socks to match a special outfit or are looking for a special kind of trim. I would love to make socks just for you.
