My Sous Chef....."T-Emeril"

Did you ever have a dinner that was almost too pretty to eat? That isn't unusual at a fine
restaurant, but doesn't always happen at home (at least not at our house). My husband and I have always enjoyed cooking together and love to try new recipes, especially those that are good nutritional choices for our family. One thing I have never been good at is cutting foods up so that they are basically uniform in shape and look pretty. I am not good at peeling either. My grandmother used to tell me that when I peeled potatoes, I peeled half the potato away. My husband is just the opposite. I tease him sometimes and call him "my human food processor" but in truth, I admire his skills. His name starts with the letter "T" which I added to the popular chef's name, Emeril, calling him "T-Emeril" as kind of a pet name for him. The truth is, if such a title were to exist in our house, my husband surely deserves it, if for nothing other than the way he neatly cuts up vegetables. Just look at the dinner we had one night this past week.

My husband cut all the vegetables by hand. See how neat they are?! Just one of the many reasons I love my "T-Emeril."

I listed a cute one piece bandana capri halterall this week. It best fits sizes 3t to 5, but these have been sold to larger size 2's and smaller 6's. The elastic waist is not recommended for over 26 inches. Ribbon ties help to easily adjust the top. It is really cute on. These halteralls have been very popular and have been sold to many happy customers. This one is ready made and ready to ship!
You can find it listed HERE for as long as the auction lasts.

Summer jewelry is a must have!

I can hardly believe it. Summer is almost here. One might think it was already here if we judged its' coming by the wave of 90 degree weather we have been having. Seems there is almost no transition these days between the seasons. With the coming of summer and warm weather brings the desire for summer clothing and boutique accessories. I have again been asked to crochet some ankle bracelets and necklaces for some little ones. These are great because the foundation chain is not only quite comfortable but is also washable. Here are some I made for a couple sweet little girls. They can be made in other foundation colors and with a variety of beads. They can be made to match almost anything. Adults seems to love them as much as the little ones do. They also make great low cost gifts. The design possibilities are endless.
You can find them in my Etsy shop available for special custom order this week.

Thanks for stopping by today.
